Alana Edmond
Alana Edmond is a Fellow at the Albert Shanker Institute. She is obtaining her Master of Arts in Educational Transformation with a concentration in Advocacy & Policy at Georgetown University. Prior to her master’s program, Alana taught ELA and Math at a middle school in Brooklyn, N.Y. She holds a B.A. in Political Science and African Diaspora Studies from Spelman College. At Spelman, she completed an Honors Senior Thesis on school finance equity.
