Geoff Marietta

Geoff Marietta is Executive Director of the Pine Mountain Settlement School and Research Fellow at Berea College. His work focuses on how social interactions and managerial decisions influence collaboration, learning, and innovation in the context of high poverty communities.  Prior to his appointment at Pine Mountain Settlement School and Berea College, Marietta was an Instructor at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and CEO/Co-founder of Giant Otter Technologies.  He also worked as the Research Director of Harvard University’s Public Education Leadership Project and has authored dozens of teaching and policy cases on leadership and management in education. Marietta has an MBA from Harvard Business School and Ed.D from Harvard Graduate School of Education.
