Lauren Schneider
Lauren Schneider is a Fellow at the Albert Shanker Institute in Washington, D.C. She is completing a master’s program in Educational Transformation at Georgetown University.
Before moving to D.C. to pursue her master’s, Lauren was an elementary school teacher for seven years. She has worked in a diverse group of schools, including charter, public, and international (private). In her previous teaching jobs, Lauren led initiatives including a co-teaching model for Emerging Bilingual Learners, and she started a schoolwide wellness program for faculty and staff. She has a B.A in sociology with a minor in education from Colorado College (Colorado Springs, CO).
