Literacy Blog Series
The Institute is renewing its commitment to literacy and expanding its focus to include:
(1) effective reading strategies beyond early childhood to bring attention to the need to support older learners in their reading success;
(2) a systemic/organizational approach to reading instruction, and
(3)perspectives, especially established or emerging science that is culturally specific and focuses on multicultural and multilingual assets that students and families bring to literacy learning.
